I still have a Rocky Patel sitting in my humidor that I need to smoke. I think that, with a nice glass of Evan Williams Single Barrel, would cap my evening tonight.
I need to get myself a small, compact humidor. Something that holds no more than 20 or 30 cigars. I'm tired of my cigars falling apart at the end when I clip them for smoking. Although, those new hole-punchers seem to work better than the little guillotine.
Yeah, I like to hole-punch mine. You get a millimeter more cigar.

There's even a souther Jersey than the South Jersey I live in. My daughter won a spot in the Regional South Jersey band. It's over an hour away. Practice started at 9 and the concert is at 2p. Brought J. V. West's Howler module to read, but checked out a Smokers Haven nearby. House blend cigars and a man cave.
Good way to burn an hour! I burned the shite out of the tip while lighting it but it's all good now.

You're living the dream, Ron!
I have told Ms. Haversack that 2014 will be the last year I smoke cigarettes. But I love smoking so much. So 2015 will be all "hello, cigars and pipes."

Nice!
I have four little girls, the oldest enters teenagerdom next year. And no basement or man-room in my small house whatsoever. I takes it when I can get it!

@Ron - looks like a relaxing time!
@Handy - I went through a cigar phase, then a pipe phase and now I'm back in a cigar phase. Cigars are much harsher, for sure, but they're also a hell of a lot more convenient than a pipe and you don't really need to be sober to make it work. I really, really like the smooth smoke of a pipe and abolutely love the smell, but it's time consuming (which has been tough to balance since my son was born) and you kind of have to be paying attention (well, I do), so it's not something that I can easily do at 11PM after I've been out drinking. Don't get me wrong, I realy enjoy the whole ritual and experience of smoking a pipe, it's just tough to find the right time these days. Enjoy yourself in 2015!

That's OK, before I met Handy, I imagined him to look like Bull from Night Court. ;)

Can I complain to you guys that it has now been six weeks since I've had a cigarette and it totally sucks? I mean, sure I'm alive. But why?
The new normal blows. I think this is why sorcerers turn to the dark arts!

I could be . . . but if I'm going to lose my joie de vivre, I'm going to cling to at least a little dignity.

Here's a pic of the gf being sassy last Saturday with one of my cigars. I smoke Punch, they fill a nice sweet spot between quality and price.

Hah! Great picture. My wife always makes a crinkly nose face when I offer her a cigar.

@Brock: I haven't had a cigar in a while (or smoked my pipe in even longer). With the onset of great fall weather, now's a perfect time to treat myself to something nice.
