If you think Narrhil seeing torchlight inside the church is a good thing!
Offline
Now two torches moving at the front doors...

Narrhil curses that he has left his haven unguarded, 'and what of the worm and Tillak, are they fine?' he muses. He moves closer for a better look, trying to use trees and foliage to hide behind and dim the icicle.

From his position at the gate, there are no trees within his 30ft light, only the fallen branch---he ducks down behind it?
The torches flicker at the doorway. There is some gesturing in Narrhil's direction. Also to the south.
NArrhil hears no voices as the wind is at his back. The torchbearers go back inside the church.

[So, the glare of the Continuous Light spells does not obscure any light from any other light source?
Do they look human, orc, or other form?]

There is no glare. The light's gleam is soft. The torchlight is quite visible. Everything in those spheres is visible.
The men were long haired. Clad in thick coats, but kept their faces turned away from Narrhil's line of sight.

[Did they look like primitives, or more advanced like blonde-haired Vikings?]

Narrhill couldn't see their faces. Long hair was dark, loose.

Moving back out the gate, Narrhil returns to the globes of light, but does not enter, he then extinguishes his icicle and moves along the outside of the Continuous Light spell effects, watching for any protruding objects into the light; to give him an idea what may lie in the darkness. Otherwise he goes very slow, his battle axe in hand, stretched out, testing for trees or low rocks in his way.

Which way, back toward the church or away?

[Use wrong map, there seems to be 5 CL active, and it shows 4, but same principles apply, he keeps close to its edge, in the dark. He will go very slow].

Narrhil crawls away from his hiding place at the fallen branch back to the opened gate.
His icicle crumbles in his palm and he moves north along the wooden rail toward his light sphere.
Then turns back toward the church before he enters, following its circumference.
But he immediately is blocked, in the dark his hands feel the familiar wooden railing.
He follows it toward the next sphere edge, near the pile of snow where he unearthed the opened back ribcage of the buried frozen man but again is blocked.
This is not a rail. This feels like hair, or fur. Carcass.

Narrhil presumes it a dead horse or cow. He moves around it, using his axe like a machete or a walking stick, depending on its needs.

Its not that big, it's humanoid, tangled in wooden structure of some sort with jagged edges.
Narrhil carefully and slowly maneuvers over and around the misshape in the darkness outside the sphere...

No further hindrance to his movement. Narrhill sees nor hears anyone outside or inside the church from his vantage.
