Tillak exits the pews and heads towards Votin. "Y'tga'qua's bones! This is dire, indeed!" [Did you want me to just use my old roll of 1d20: 5 + 1= 6?] Intiative: 1d6: 3!

[Ha! no, roll your saving throw versus device on a d20. You've just breathed in a deadly blast of frigid air that potentially has frozen your lungs to ice!]

Just misses!
Frigid air fills Tillak's lungs knocking him to his knees!
[Tillak -10 hp.]

Votin and Tillak fall to their knees, stricken by the mysterious blast of cold that felled the 2nd wolf. Malak is missing or hiding but their voices are frozen in their throats to call out to him!
Suddenly a mysterious mage enters through the broken double entrance doors. The small flicking fire flames behind you illuminating his white winter robes, its blue trim twinkling and mesmerizing. He holds a 1 foot long shaft of bone in his hand- its tip, a sapphire jewel. Its soft afterglow still fades.
The two remaining halfskeletons in the corner move forward to engage him!
[ALL state intentions. Roll initiatives, and other rolls.]
[NARRHIL will be surprised on this first phase.]

Narrhil views the destruction he has just caused, "by the Great Ashen Worm," he states giving the wand a quick look, 'such power, perhaps I am unworthy of it?' He thinks. 'But the Great Ashen would not have shown it to me, this must have been what he wishes, his will is absolute!'
He moves forward through the blizzard that comes into the ruined church through its destroyed roof towards the fading fire, past the two fallen men, "their souls will go to the Frozen Abyss as was intended!" He mutters.
Intentions: Scan the church, look at the fallen men, perhaps they are still alive and wish to speak a few last words before passing on into the afterlife...
Initiative: 1d6 = 6.
Note: He places the wand away and grips his two picks (off-hand grants him +1 AC as a parry weapon?).

[Noted. I assume you mean to attack the skeletons? Please add your attack rolls/damage rolls to the above initiative roll. Thanks.

The barbarian collects his heaving breath on his knees, as does the esquimeaux next to him, both are very much alive, having survived your death blast. There are 2 slain wolves. and piles of bones littering the soaky paper covered stone floor. As you put your wand away, there is a sudden movement on your right!
[NARRHIL is surprised on this phase so he will only get his 2 picks in hand on the next phase, and could attack on next round.]

'Ah, not as dead as I had presumed,' thought Narrhil.
"I am Narrhil Morrtos, can I assist?!" He asks the two men...

Narrhil has initiative 6.
He speaks, loads, and pivots as above.
Tillak has 5.
Jumping to feet he rushes back to attack the onslaught surprise attack.
1d20: 13 + 1 = 14! 1d8: 3 + 2= 5!

The remaining skeleton has 4! It attacks Tillak even as Votin approaches. 14! its puny dagger fails to penetrate the Warlock's armor.
