His head and shoulders are up through the floor of a roughly 15 ft diameter domed space about 8ft high in the center. In the middle of the area is a mound covered with a decaying frock. there is an empty inkwell over turned near a quill.
There appears to be piles of bone beyond but he cannot be sure from where he is.

Tillak attempts to discern movement. Is the floor dusty? Is there any evidence of Votin being there? Is there a light source other than TIllak's torch?

Only light is Tillak's torch. ​There appears to be a hole in the wall across the space, but it is dark beyond.
There is no dust on the floor.

Tillak moves forward, with his torch in one hand and is war pick in the other.

Tillak manages to extract the paper. He has to put his torch down on the floor to unfold the crinkled parchment. He holds it toward the light revealing the lines in dark ink by shaky hand.

No evidence of Votin can be seen in the chamber. There are empty bottles on the floor, piles of bone, and 3 rusty knives, a quill, an an empty inkwell. The 3x3x3 stone sits in front of the 3x3 opening in the wall.

Tillak is taking it. It may need to be studied, further.

Tillak notices a flicker of light deep inside the 3x3 hole in the wall.

Votin reexamines the racks of vials...perhaps he missed something the last time, maybe another entrance to the room upstairs.
