A great artist gone. Rest In Peace Mr. Giger.

Re: RIP H.R. Giger

Ahh, too bad. When I was a teenager, I once had an H.R. Giger calendar. When the year was up, I went back to January with it, because I wanted to see all those pictures again. This went on for about four years.

Re: RIP H.R. Giger

Man, that's too bad. At least he left a legacy that would make any artist proud, I would think.

Right next to the Frazetta calendar collage on my bedroom wall, I had a Giger alien poster.

Re: RIP H.R. Giger

I had some of his biomechanical works up on the walls during college and perhaps grad school---mostly stuff similar in vibe to the ELP _Brain Salad Surgery_ album.  I enjoyed Aliens as well, of course, but it was his earlier pieces that had always caught my eye the most, BITD.
