Emral moves closer, preparing to use the tip of his sword to move a hood or cloak, or tuft of grass, out of the way and get a better look. He suspects either undead or, perhaps, another dead acolyte who was killed after returning to this strange place?
Ooc: right?

Emral steps closer, holding the sword and the lantern out, shining the light on a tombstone. The stone is roughly hewn, and askew in the frozen ground.

Any writing on it? And can we see the glow from here?

Nothing on this side - but looking on the front side Emral sees but a single symbol, which Emral does not recognize but understands is clearly a magical glyph...written in blood.

What space is it in?
Is it something that could be wiped off the stone or otherwise destroyed by getting rid of the glyph?
Is there any symbol that could be causing this weather, like the symbol for cold, water, wind, boreas, etc? Or maybe a command or an anti-warmth symbol, anywhere in the glyphs construction?
Where is the glow supposed to be from here?

The blood looks quite quite fresh, although the snow has no effect on it.
There is only the single, unknown symbol on the stone.
The glow must be just ahead to the right behind the tall grasses, but still unseen.

Fresh as in wet? It’s not frozen?

Yes, it looks wet, glistening in your lantern light. You notice under this scrutiny that the snow never falls on it.

Have I ever seen this symbol?

Malak peers around the stone to look upon the symbol.
Malak roll d12.

Malak feels a scramble of his thoughts but manages to look away.

Emral tosses a bit of snow with his foot to see if the snow will touch the symbol.

The snow covers the front of the stone, but is repelled from the glyph.

What else is around the close vicinity of the stone?

Very tall grasses are whipping you in the face!

How tall is very tall?
Some men are bigger than others

Most of the unkempt grasses have grown to nearly 4ft - with plenty of wisps extending over your head.
The stone is around 2ft in diameter, maybe 12 inches high, slightly angled into the earth.
The snow accumulates at current - 8 inches.

Can I get a visual of the mapped area?

Where is the red stone?
