What space is it in?
Is it something that could be wiped off the stone or otherwise destroyed by getting rid of the glyph?
Is there any symbol that could be causing this weather, like the symbol for cold, water, wind, boreas, etc? Or maybe a command or an anti-warmth symbol, anywhere in the glyphs construction?
Where is the glow supposed to be from here?

The blood looks quite quite fresh, although the snow has no effect on it.
There is only the single, unknown symbol on the stone.
The glow must be just ahead to the right behind the tall grasses, but still unseen.

Most of the unkempt grasses have grown to nearly 4ft - with plenty of wisps extending over your head.
The stone is around 2ft in diameter, maybe 12 inches high, slightly angled into the earth.
The snow accumulates at current - 8 inches.
