Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you all find some time to relax with family and friends.
Now, the important stuff: what's on your menu?
At my house:
- turkey (we fry them these days, so easy and does not take up valuable oven space)
- dressing aka stuffing (bread, sausage and apples)
- cranberry sauce
- mash potatoes and gravy
- green bean casserole
- corn casserole
- pumpkin pie
- fall salad (cranberries, pecans, apple, romaine)

I'm having a cornish hen, a mashed potato, and cornbread!

Happy Thanksgiving. I'm taking the wifey out to dinner where they'll have the standard turkey and sides.

Oh man, that hen sounds yummy!
We fixed up the traditional food, and substituted some small things: Sweet potatoes for mashed, brownies for pie, etc.
Next year we are talking about going a different route: Hen, pheasant, or possibly a ham if we are feeling a little lazy. Same goes for the sides.
I hope everyone had a good day, even the Lions, Redskins and Falcons fans!
