Ahh, I see they're wading through the effluence left by my previous characters that explored this location under Chainsaw's watchful eye...

Death and taxes are getting upset that you're giving other certainties to look forward to than theirs.

My books were waiting for me when arrived home from a trip this weekend.
They made a splash at Eli's AS&SH game last night - clearly the difference between surviving and my other characters that have died at Eli's hands. There's power in the player folio! Put it between yourself and the DM to shield their malevolent intent.

Oh, my goodness, I love when the PCs are fed a ration of paranoia as motivation to do stuff. Excellent.
Rations of paranoia are the main course of my campaigns :D

I will be in Chainsaws AS&SH game at that time. Maybe we can all get together and do something off-grid, although my plate is pretty full.
Yeah, I didn't pay close enough attention to when all the other great AS&SH games are running!
I'll probably cut the convention time slot down to just the meat of the adventure, and leave out the journey, so that PCs have a shot at the end game if they play well. But perhaps if the stars align (instead of falling) an off-grid can start up at some point earlier in the week that would allow a play through of the entirety over a couple of nights.
And if not, I'm sure I'll be running it online between now and next year's con season.

If there’s any dead time we might be able to get a start in off-grid some evening, and carry on over roll20 after the con
(I’ll be running it at GC too, since off-grid plans can get lost in a haze of Jim’s excellent stout!)

I registered another AS&SH game for max-level characters on Saturday morning between 10-4: "Buried Under Black Ice". A large black diamond-shaped object fell from the heavens while the longbeards began muttering about signs and portents of a war between the stars and the gods. It crossed the sky over your small freehold before disappearing beyond the mountains guarding the Plain of Leng. Now the diviners warn that unless you find it first, this mysterious conflict will destroy the freehold you've eked from the wilderness.

I'd also pay for tokens matching AS&SH art.

I have 10 ft squares native within the map before I upload it, and then turn on Roll20's grid at 3.33 ft per square.
this gives a bold 10 ft grid that serves only a visual purpose, while the grid that everything snaps to (and is the only grid Roll20 is "recognizing") gives me 3 man-sized characters abreast.

Late to the announcement, but this is great news! I'm glad AS&SH is going to be showcased, and that this table is in for a treat.

Is this the one with the creepy villagers of the fishing town? I think I played it at NTRPG in 2013 with Bill.

A big thank you to everyone involved and can't wait to get the real Mccoy's but am now conflicted if I should get play copies too.
Yes.
And if anything in Beneath the Comet offends you, you should buy at least a dozen copies and burn them.
Only a dozen? That's a pitiful expression of contempt. True outrage demands a gross, minimum, otherwise you're not really doing anything to keep others from using such clap-trap.

That's right, Steve.
What an ingenious way to counter after-market shrinkers! Be honest: the Acaeum put you up to this, didn't they?
;)
