Remember the Planet Algol Blog? http://planetalgol.blogspot.com/
I can see pulling in some weird/cool stuff from that setting for Hyperborea!

Those are some good choices. How do you stat the tech/powers these critters might come with? I was also thinking of the Martians from H.G. Wells, and the flora/fauna of Barsoom i.e. Edgar Rice Burroughs.

'Carcosa' by Geoff McKinney has great tables for generating pulpy  technological devices for advanced aliens. I assume alien characters have 1-6 pieces of tech depending on their HD, rank in the alien hierarchy, etc.

I had pondered working a bit of Red Planet into my Campaign as well....

I have been thinking a bit back about adding elements/combining ASSH with Monte Cook's Numenera. Not so much converting,(only when needed), one entire game to another, but importing elements of each.  So far the gaming table has been going crazy excited about this mix and the sessions have been going well.

Was pleased to see your post! I was thinking of doing something similar with my upcoming Hyperborea Campaign. I got the Numenera Supplement Jade Colossus with the intent of using it to generate weird science ruins and dungeons for my Hyperborea games!

I'm not 100% positive, but I think this CAS story was probably the inspiration for the Mu:

I check these pages every day in the hopes the ritual will somehow speed the printing process.  I'm pretty sure it's working.

The books are still in layout at this time. I look forward to sharing some of those samples in the coming weeks. Cheers!

So hyped about this!!! Can't wait!

I'm planting the map hook from The Hyqueous Vaults (lulu and drivethrurpg) in a dungeon my group is in.

I'm slightly stuck on how to convert the ogre mage into Hyperborea.

The troll is a slight stretch but that's ok. The elf fighter/mu will just get made into an equivalent atlantean warlock.

The goblins will just be humans.

Any thoughts?

Any updates on how this adventure worked out in your Hyperborea campaign?

I remember Arak, I had a few issues back in the day. Doesn't look like DC did any compiled TPB's of the run. So guess I need to loot the back issue bins at the local comic shop.  Thanks for reminding me about the series!

Welcome to the forum!

Thanks! I've been away from AS&SH for a bit, but jumping back in with both feet!  Backed the kickstarter at the All-In Level! Can't wait! I need to go dust off my original boxed set in the meantime!
