I liked the phase in combat to be honest but I understand.

You should think about a VTT option for Hyperborea. Fantasy Grounds is great but there's others options. Especially with the pandemic. I haven't played AS&SH in more than a year because of that.

Well! That's awesome! I'll work my way on Fantasy Grounds. I learned a lot DMing with the software for the past months... And I have a lot of work to do still but please keep me posted on your progress!

It's gonna be a long process, but I'll get there.

I'll check out your work if you give me a link on what you guys do!

Skal!

I've DM at least 30 games with Fantasy Grounds and I love it so much. Spent a lot of money buying D&D 5e stuff and I'm still having a blast with my friends across Canada... specially during this pandemic! I recently learned about the MoreCore ruleset that add a lot to the Core Set of Fantasy Grounds. Since I have basicaly everything with an AS&SH label on it, I'll try and code it on FG. It's gonna be a long process... but if somebody already work on that, maybe we could exchange notes!

Here's my girlfriend band. Some Viking metal for your game! Check out their acoustics album too, perfect for ambiance!

You guys are the greatest source of happiness for me and my gaming group. I always tweak the story to my taste and have a tendency to make daemons explode in a wave of pus... but that's me!

We have so much fun to run your adventure. Thanks for keeping them coming. If I allowed, I will submit one of my creation to you guys. When I translate it to english!

Cheers to you all and may the force be with you!

Wow, where do you guys organize your material? Web site, application? Where can I get those modules?

I have a biweekly AS&SH game for some years now. Players gravitate but I have a solid crew. I need somewhere to put my notes together.

I still use it. Very well made.

Hyperborea » Campaign Calendar » 3/28/2016 8:30 pm

I keep it approximate but I never used the festivals yet. I need to use them more I think. It would add a great deal of ambiance an a sense of impending doom coming around the Hyperborean winter.

For now the only thing they see in the sky is a big comet flying over them... but it's still a little speck in the sky hahaha. I still have to run the Forgotten Fane module and they will need to go fetch more Green Diamonds if they want to go with the Skyship (That will be fun hahaha). After that Xathoqqua's comet is coming to town!

I was trying to have my campaign Grande Finale during the winter... when it's cold and dark... atop (and probably under) Mount Vhuurmithadon

Just asking like that, is there any link to that Cryomancer class?

Good question. It was published in Scalydemon's print-only (and excellent) zine AFS, so I'm not sure if there's an online version anywhere. I was wondering the same thing recently.

That said, here's the zine:

Not sure what shipping to Canada will be like.

Thank you Handy! Whatever I am paying you please remind me to double it.

I'm on a tight budget right now Scaly (helping out my girlfriend with university). But this summer i'll probably buy all your 6 issues of AFS mag in one bundle. I'll email you at that time. Can't wait to read them all

I see that I'm not the only one highlighting everything inside the book.

I've been using it for many game sessions now. I'm used to it and I love it!
