I picked up a great little book that collects some old Mythos related stories written by people other than HPL. Lots in here I had not read. I found a physical copy at HPB, but you can get the kindle edition of this for $2.99 if anyone is interested (on amazon)

BELLS OF HORROR by Henry Kuttner: Infernal chimes ring the promise of dementia and mutilation.
THE FIRE OF ASSHURBANIPAL by Robert E. Howard: In the burning Afghan desert, a young American unleashes an ancient curse.
THE ABYSS by Robert A. W. Lowndes: A hypnotized man finds himself in an alternate universe, trapped on a high wire between life and death.

AND SIXTEEN MORE TALES OF ICY TERROR . . .

I'll have to pick this one up as well. I have read a few of those tales, including Fane of the Black Pharoah which is a great read.

I recently picked up a similar compilation, The Book of Cthulhu II. So far I've only read "Sticks," by Karl Wagner, and "Hand of Glory," by Laird Baron and both were excellent.

Ha, you know it's going to be good when every short story title included sounds like the name of an adventure module
