Got turned on to this author by a guy on google+. Really like what I have read so far (a Dying Earth type short story in the Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction JAN/FEB 2015 issue). Best 'new' thing I have read in awhile

If you like Jack Vance you should check him out

I have to echo Ghul. After looking over that site for like four seconds, I can say the author's work sounds very interesting.  Thanks for sharing Scott!

This finally arrived in the mail today. Bonus is the cover art is by Jason Van Hollander (who also did the covers on the CAS collected fantasy hardbacks etc.). Another bonus is the book itself  is very nice, by publisher 'Night Shade books'

Can't wait to crack into a few of the stories. I needed to find a new (living) author

I recommended to a friend after seeing your recommendation. He picked one up off eBay and quite liked it. A Vance pastiche, but a well done one, which is quite an accomplishment! I will check it out too once I finally finish Playing at the World.

Ok, just an update after reading most of this book.

Very excellent. I plan to get another book from this author.

The character Henghis Hapthorn is quite a fellow. These types of 'serial short stories' fits me well with my current lack of big block free time. I can read an entertaining short story with a character I know from other stories.
