## 577-06-19

Everyone decides to call it a night and head for their tents.

## 577-06-20

Kwairai was able to negotiate a ride to and from Crystal point. 50gp
to get their and 150gp upon their return.

The fisherman will show up a week after they are dropped off.

During the first day of travel Xathoqua's sleepy eye appears in the sky. The
party notices their weapon's start to glow blue.

On the second day they approach Crystal Point. The party gets off on a long stretch of
beach and walk towards a shipwreck. Assiminik is paid and will return to this spot in 1 week.

As they approach the wreck they see a ragged blue flag bearing the image of Saturn on it.

Go around the wreck looking for a way onto or in it and find a hole in the port hull.

Kwairai investigates and sees floating barrels and wrecking and as he wades in the temperature
drops 20F. There is one door in the hold area that is intact. Kwairai checks the door and notices
it is very cold and swollen shut.

Euric forces the door open and is greeted by a ghostly figure. Euric flees but Kwairai is able to
stand his ground.

Kwairai is touched by the ghost and ages 13 years. He runs out of the ship.

The ghost stops at the opening in the hull and glowers at the party.

The party goes to find Euric and decided to go back where they were dropped off to set up camp.
They notice an overgrown stone path during site prep.

The night passed by without incident.

The scouts are able to easily follow the path. About a mile hiking through the growth gets them
to a 4 way intersection. The path leading to the right and the higher elevation of the island
is chosen.

About a mile and a half later a large opening in the forest is found. A large lake is at
the center. Off to the right a stone platform can be seen in what looks to be a smaller clearing.

The clearing has some rocky ground with small hills and bunches of trees. As the group
carefully approaches the platform they notice small not natural structures on the right.

Closer inspections finds a 60 foot diameter, circular metallic looking thing embedded in the
ground. It is covered in ferns and other plant debris. It is cool to the touch. Childerbert finds
a Hellenic Alpha engraved in the center of it.

They make their way to the platform.

The steps go up 15 feet to a platform with 8 broken columns on it. From the ground they can't
see the black object. They take the stairs up.

As they get to the top of the platform. It is covered in human bones, near them is a rotting human
corpse with flying swarming its open stomach. Ten feet behind it is an angular black crystal
statue of a goat. It comes to life and belches a cloud of flies that swarm the party.

Everyone but Euric and Hamilcar get knocked to the ground with the flies trying to consume them. The
standing duo attack the goat. Only a punch from Hamilcar lands. The goat then gores Hamilcar.

Euric is able to land 2 mighty blows as he wields his broadsword with both hands while Hamilcar
misses. Meanwhile only Saghani is able to fend off the flies. The goat fails to gore Hamilcar.

Hamilcar swings wildly and hits Euric who is able to land a blow.

Hamilcar is able to punch the black crystal goat and shatter it.

This release a final swarm of flies. No one else falls victim to the flies.

Eventually Karla, Childebert, and Kwairai are able to fend off the flies but barely survive
thanks to the healing of Saghani and Hamilcar.

All of the group but Saghani fails to turn the wheel.

Saghani finally opens the hatch with a horrendous, metallic screech.

There is another hatch across from them and a hall leading north and turns east shortly.

Childebert and Hamilcar lead the way.

They enter an atrium and are ambushed by 2 crab-men warriors shooting laser rifles.

Childebert takes a hit.

The other crab-man shoots at Hamilcar but instead shoots his compatriot.

Childebert gets hit again while Hamilcar is unscathed.

Childebert goes down as a third crab shoots him but misses Hamilcar.

Hamilcar runs to a third crab-an and gives it 2 hard punches.

Euric steps into the fray by shield bashing slashing with his broadsword.

Saghani hits the same crab-man with a weird warhammer that kills it.

The third crab-man fires at him but Hamilcar is unable to dodge a shot well places short.

He replies with a killing punch.

The remaining crab-man scores a blast on Karla. It is swiftly taken care of.

Karla takes Childebert's bow and Kwairai takes his studded leather.

There is a opaque black crystal plate to blocking the northern archway.

South of the plate, a seascape relief featuring a swarm of crabs emerging
from the crevices of a large coral formation decorates the walls of this
small atrium.

The surviving members take the hall leading soutch out of the room.

At the end is a hatch with a sigil/glyph that no one recognizes.

Kwai opens the hatch with a screech.

Beyond is a spherical room.

Dull grey metal covers the walls of this room, and green glass orbs
lie recessed randomly across the surface. Through the middle of the
room extends a metal bridge with a circular widening at its center,
from which sprouts a slender metal pedestal with a crystal-shaped recess.

Euric asks Saghani if they can explain the room. They can not.

Kwai checvks and opens hatch on the other side of the room without
sound or incident.

There is a very short hallway going to an intersection. On the wall on the opposite
side of the intersection is a hatch. At either end of the short hall ways from
the intersection are hatches.

Kwai opens the hatch quietly.

Blast marks speckle the dirty marble walls and floor of this circular
shaft. An observation platform of rusty metal hangs
loosely beneath the hatch. An adjacent metal ladder
descends 50 feet to the floor below and stretches over 100 feet above.

On the floor below 2 charred crab-man lie next a 10 foot diameter crystal hemisphere. It
is in the center of the floor. Reddish-brown liquid swirls inside.

The hatch is closed by left ajar.

The door to the southeast is opened by Eurir afte Kwai fails to.

Machines line the walls, but it is badly damaged and charred.
In one area a red button and a green button remain intact.
Another area has a black lever and a blue button that are unbroken.

It is decided to not do anything in this room.

So the remaining hatch at the other end of the hallway is opened.

Beyond, in a very large room 3 crab-men can be seen.

The party goes down the stairs and just before they go into the room two
dudes with funky rifles attached to a backpack shoot at them.

Cian, Euric, and Hamilcar however are able to attack first.

Saghani casts weird warhammer but misses with it and Kwairai is able to poke
one with his dagger.

They shoot at Cian and Euric only hitting Cian who is stunned by the blast of
lightning.

Two winged creatures come from behind 2 statues and shoot. One misses badly enough
to hit and disintegrate one of the rifle wielders. They are recognized to be mi-go.


Cian continues being stunned and shocked.

Euric slashes the other one down.

The mi-go shoot at Hamilcar but he is able to dodge it and the other shot misses Cian.

Kwia shoots at a migo and hits and karla misses.

Hamilcar runs up and punches a mi-go while everyone else misses the attacks.

The weird warhammer lands a solid blow.

Euric and Hamilcar give the finishing blows to a mi-go and the other flies off.

The party cautiously follow where they think the mi-go fled.

The find a large room and a balcony overlooking a waterfall 80 feet below.

There are black crystal doors to the north and south and a spiral staircase in the
west wall.

Kwai checks out the north door. He notices finger sized holes on the left and right of the
door. His dagger is too wide to poke in it but he is able to get an arrow in it. It goes in
about six inches and then he can feel some resistance and the door disappears.

The party goes through the door into another hallway. There is another door to the right and
more hallway and alcoves to the left.

This leads to a room with a two foot diameter sphere of blackness in an alcove on the south side
of the room.

Kwairai shoots an arrow into the sphere. It goes in silently but does not exit out the other side.
