Concerning the ending of the adventure

SPOILERS
If the gem kills Ronan, and the doom comes to the keep. can placing the sacred flame in the keep, or the mine itself counteract the corruption that will destroy it?

I would assign a reasonable % chance of this being successful, make a roll, and see how it pans out! It's an interesting proposition.

Hahaha nice. I would probably allow this to work with no roll.

However, keep in mind that Apollo will eventually punish (either directly or through his followers) any frivolous use of the Sacred Flame.
