My infamous Japanese maple can be seen in the background of the second picture, wearing its "summer colors".

Thanks!
I have to confess that the shark fin antenna may have played a part in my purchasing decision.

Excellent. I bet that thing gets great gas mileage. How does the stereo sound in the new Prius?

Also, I just noticed your sig. Sorry for your loss, BA.

It seems to be getting about 50 mpg driving around town. I have to drive to the Cleveland Clinic and back next month, so I'll be able to let you know how it does on the highway.

Great! I have Physical Graffiti in there right now.

Gas mileage update*: I was able to make the round-trip from Charleston WV to Cleveland on one 11.5 gallon tank of gas (although I was pushing it, much to my wife's lack of amusement!) 50.4 miles per gallon, which isn't that different from what I get driving around town.

I would probably get 60 mpg or better if I lived in Kansas, but lucky me, I live in "The Mountain State".

* - I know this topic was very much on everybody's mind. You're welcome.

Nice car. My 2012 Prius gets a little over 40 MPG.
Thinking about going for an all-electric car since I sit in so much traffic.

Personally, I don't see any advantage an electric car has over a plug-in hybrid. A plug-in hybrid can usually go about 40 miles at a time without using any gas, but still gives you the range (and lack of concern about finding charging stations) of a hybrid. I actually considered a Prius Prime for just that reason, but then I found out Toyota eliminated the CD player to make room for the cool 11.5 inch screen. I have over 500 CD's, so that was a nonstarter for me.
