BA23, I paginated and bookmarked the version that I DLed. Would that be of any use to you? I can e-mail it to you if you want.

Please email it to me ( ballbd@hotmail.com ) and I'll probably replace my version with yours. I'm too lazy to bookmark a pdf myself, but not to make the minimal effort it would take to swap the downloads.

Our own Handy Haversack has very kindly added bookmarks to the pdf, something I couldn't be arsed to do myself:

Wow, thanks BA23. I'm going to hack this for my own use, I appreciate the hard work.

Thanks BA23 and Handy: nice collaboration.

I've taken BA's wonderful encounter tables and webified them:

http://gizmomathboy.com/he_app

I'm about 80% satisfied with them. There are improvements I would like to make but it does what I would like it to.

What? Me worry?

Now that's cool too!

Does this combine I & II?

It's only 2. I'm working under the assumption that 2 supersedes consumes and otherwise negates the existence of 1 :-)

You're welcome. Now we just have to worry about keeping the site up :-)

That's correct. As much as possible was carried over from 1, except where the 2e gazetteer suggested something should change. And of course all the new monsters, classes, and areas were added.

Added code so that app will "roll" XdY stuff now.

Now the harder part, expanding stuff like:

encounter: Huntsman

encounter: Light Patrol (Apollonians)

What? Me worry?

BA23 found a pile of typos and such.

I've corrected them.

I guess I should think about some tests for my code

Welp, I'm like 94% satisfied with my web app.

I finally have it spitting out the text from the various parts of Appendix I. I do some rolling but not all that I would like.

That last few things I would like to do are gonna be a bit of a pain to do, but I think we're worth it. ;-)

So go give it a spin and tell me where I've failed you. :-)

"The druid is accompanied by allied animals, the type and number being determined by rolling on the 6 aurochs column of the current error with /home/gizmo/www/hyperborea/encounters/encounter_tables_2/terrain/hills_and_rocky_islands/terrain file not found TABLE."

Got it under Gal Hills / hills and rocky islands.
