Doc Savage

This started out as 1930's pulp Street & Smith magazine fodder. I read a dozen or so of these novels when I was in my teens. I sort of doubt they would 'hold up' for me now.

Anyone else read much of these?

Re: Doc Savage

I read a ton of the old Doc Savage books when I was in middle school. I'm pretty sure that if I read them as an adult I'd find them just awful.

Re: Doc Savage

Not yet.  I recently bought some reprint anthologies.  I expect them to be as dated as the Lensmen series.  Fun, but dated.
