Yeah. I guess announcing it on their own site would be too much to ask . . .
Anyway, it looks like one's "purse" is now filled in, though I don't see associated costs for games. I can only assume that they're trying to figure out the exchange rate for my games. Gold pieces? Think big, people! At least try to get something from the 10 gp "New Age rummage sale" list of gems. Hematite, perhaps, or banded agate. Maybe even moss agate!
Now I wish I'd listed my games under "Jasper Feldspar." He rocks!

Next year I may register my games under Louis Friend.

Great stuff, Handy. I had a lot of fun running Beyond the Ice Fall for my crew. Joe did a great job with that.
I felt the same way when we ran it here. Some of the characters still bear the scars! I was thinking about running part of Ghost Ship, but this felt more self-contained. I'm still new to running things for other people, too.
Thanks guys!
I'm excited to hear that your going to run this at Gary Con. It means I'll be there in spirit!
Hope you all have a great time!

Your anagrams are showing, Doctor Chainsaw.
Aaaaand now I need to roll up a character for *something* named Dr. Chainsaw!

I was recently awarded my Phd from T-Mac's Brewniversity for drinking 325 different beers...

The saddest part is that I already knew this . . . and was already jealous.

I might as well see if I can break this thing...
I have a web app that has the Gary Con events in a bit nicer format for searches and such at:
gary/gygax
I in now way guarantee the veracity or accuracy of the data there (but I try to keep it current), but it might help you find events a bit easier than the gary con page.
If you have problems let me know and I'll see if I can fix them (with my stuff...not gary con stuff).
If you would like your own account on it I can manually create one and pm you the p/w.

For my app, there are a couple things.
The quick search at the top right searches all columns (there is a drop down to tweak that).
Also, you can "hide" columns. Each column has a drop down menu, under that is columns. In that menu you can hide a column. By default all columns are shown. Hiding the event_text column compacts things a bit.

Spent the day making pregens (1800 + 1d6 XP) for Beyond the Ice Fall and anything else that might come up. Obviously, I used Waifs of the Boreas and Maezar's Character Sheet of Wondrous Animation. Also ran Into the Odd for Ms. Haversack, who probably thinks she already went farther into the Odd than she ever expected about sixteen years ago!
Did I mention there's over two feet of snow on the ground?

Thanks for reminding me. I need to do this for my games.

So, what's everyone got? Other than my games Thurs 12PM-4PM, Fri 8PM-1PM and Sat 12PM-4PM, I hve Dave Prata's Friday 12PM-6PM game. Will be looking for some good games Weds, Thurs and Sat nights.
Also, if you are in one of my games and want to roll up your PC via email/PM beforehand rather than using a pregen, let me know.

Got into Handy's "Beyond the Ice Fall" game Thursday afternoon and I'll be in attendance at Chainsaw's "The Strange Tale of Crystal Point" game Friday night.
Got some free time for off-grid gaming as well.

Well the good news is my games sold out. The bad news is I was ready to register at 12 noon, then at 3pm but had to leave and run a game for my locals so I have yet to get a game to actually PLAY in........

For the benefit of those who (like me) were stymied by event registration, I saved two player slots in each of my games for walk-ups (AD&D Thursday, AS&SH Friday, CoC Saturday). Thus, even if the event is "sold out", it's not really.

I see the wisdom of this more than ever now.

I can't take credit; I swiped the idea from Frank Mentzer at TotalCon.

I will be in Chainsaw's Crystal Point game on Thursday and Ghul's Port Greely on Thursday as well. Then a bunch of chainmail.
I'll also be running 5 circus maximus events.
