Welcome, nice picture of the Allfather.
Thank you, Jason. I found it very suitable. The Norse elements of the AS&SH setting are one of the reasons i was drawn to it. My father would read me tales from Snorri's Edda when i was younger so it's an important part of my imagination.

Welcome! Port Greely's the one Hyperborea module I haven't played yet, so I'm jealous. Make sure to let us know how it goes in the Campaign forum. ![]()

A little late to the OSR party (recovering Pathfinderaholic since its inception) but AS&SH is by far my favorite interpretation of the rules I grew up with. Throughout my years of running and playing Pathfinder, I've had some good times, but nothing close to matching the fantastic times I had with 1st edition. I am looking forward to getting to know the community here!

You won't be disappointed. The 2e book is a masterpiece!

Yeah, you really cannot tell from pictures online how high quality this book is in its physical production. The heavy paper weight, the quality of the binding, and the texture of the cover all make it a joy to hold. I wasn't sure how much I'd be able to sit around reading from a book of this size, but I keep finding it in my hands.

Though my group has noted that the book was pretty clearly designed by people who don't have to carry it around on the subway, Ghul.
