A mysterious patron with a strange offer and stranger compensation has the Brotherhood asking more questions before discovering who the patron represents. They are also confronted by other individuals with similar desires and concerns.

The Brotherhood of the Dark Star begins their investigation into the recent murders, looking for clues to find those responsible. A friend of Borkr has information, a dock worker tells a story and an acolytes last moments.

The Brotherhood of the Dark Star continues the investigation and makes some strides as they speak with the final name on the list from the Vermillion Tide, a mercenary with a strange tale. Motive and method of dispatch, but why?
