Tillak advances into the chamber, hoping again that the cryomancer will follow him.

The two wolf-mutes slaver along at the the Shaman's heels. The group moves through the church and squeeze through the tied broken entrance doors and out into the open. Now the full sight of Selene falls upon all, its bathing beauty hidden by this blanket of storm for longer than any can recall during this endless night.
The wolf-mutes take to their haunches and howl. The discordant song tearing at the Shaman's eardrums.
But he, too, feels a lightening as some sense, beyond this sorcerous guiding light. that fortune may be turning her hand in his favor.
Turok wonders if the mutes-now-wolves can pickup the scent of the scouts... they move in the direction of the wagon [where ever it may be] as they get closer he will encourage them to try and find the scout's scent.
Not wanting to lose control of the pair, Tuork wonders if they need to hunt to fulfill some sort of need?

[TUROK +500 XP]
The wolf-mutes follow multi-sets of footprints through the fallen snow blanket out toward the wagon between several small buildings ahead.
Selene already begins to dip to the treeline at northeast forest and its light across the land dims.
A large area of dense birch is fenced off to the south.
Beyond the wagon, in some distance, the land looks to dip into a sheer rock face.

[Turok and the mutes followed the scouts in from the east mountains, and came into the church's cemetery.]

Turok observes the tracks in the snow between the wagon and several buildings, he motions to the mutes and cautiously approaches the closest one with warclub in hand.

Sawed logs lay snow covered beyond the broken wagon.
The light of Selene dims faster, leaving only the dim of the globe of magical light soon...

Turok follows the tracks to the middle building, listening intently at first to make out any sounds or conversations...Turok motions the pair to approach in silence...[ if possible ]

As Turok and crew approach the wagon they stop and search it for possible clues, then they'll check out any closer buildings .. if they leave the magical light, a torch will be lit.

The pair resist taking the new scent but eventually are coaxed into snorting the prints with some rations.
They eagerly move off in the direct of the prints toward the small building tucked against a stand of pine.
The grand moon dips much lower behind the treeline now.

Turok hesitates before the building the pair have stopped at ... once again he signals to the two to be silent and they listen very carefully for any sound ... mindful of the moon's waning he signals the two again and opens the door as easy as possible.

The mute-wolves creep toward the single wooden step, most the porch beyond is once again in darkness, as the light of the magical circles exceeds the light of the dipping Selene. They pause at Turok's hushed command, each catching the scent of something beyond, but allowing him to pass.
Turok takes the step. The old wood groans under his weight and snaps in two.
There is a loud shift inside the hut then immediate silence.
The mute-wolves growl steadily...

Tillak crawls through the chute and finds Narrhil seemingly fallen into some sort of silent-trance.
He has no reactions, he answers no questions. As if he is no longer here.
The great worm shrugs...
"The strangers can't have gotten far...."
