He carefully looks into the temple, through one of the nearest holes in the door way.
Offline
The room is empty, but Narhill notices something that wasn't there when he left. 3 ropes hanging down from the charred rafter at the rear down to the raised dais.
Offline
Narrhil blinks and ponders, then enters into the temple. Wand at the ready. He will not wait for parley. If he sees them blink wrong he will blast them to death...
Offline
Narrhil crawls through the broken doors and across the pews tied against the doorway.
Fresh footprints track all over the room in the snow/ice.
Offline
Narrhil watches the ropes and the door to he kitchen, making sure none surprises him.
He moves through the centre of the temple to the east wall, making sure none could spy him from the kitchen. He moves slowly to the kitchen door listening for any danger.
Offline
Most likely Narrhil doesn't move into the opening of the kitchen doorway. Slowly he makes his way.
Pausing near the dais edge beside the opening, and listening. His ears ache for something. The wind. The creak of the wooden belfry swaying. The tinging of sleet on the last bare stone and wood of the chapel. Then a long off wolf howl. Easterly or southern?
Offline
Narrhil quickly moves into the kitchen, presenting the wand; ready to destroy any threat.
Offline
Narrhil jumps through the doorway. But the room is bare.
The cellar door ajar as he left it.
A VOICE heard coming through the high windows.
"Somebody's been through here. Look at all these marks, FERRAND. Nar a few by the looks of it,
I sense grave magicks have been at play here...
No matter we wait for the others."

[My last funeral was Saturday morning, my aunt, uncle and sister have gone into the light and all my duties are done, Votin is itching for some action...unless he has retired...is it possible to play a different class or maybe two PCs? I've been reading the book.]

[Votin seems to keep disappearing into some otherworldly crackling riven of lightning, it's unclear if his movement back to this plane is controllable, but hope springs eternal.]

[Welcome back Yeti, sad for your lose, life can be brutal.
Narrhil is carrying (and using) Votin's battle axe and donned his armour. So, would cause some concerns if he reappeared. ]

[Can Narrhil determine an accent from talkers. Does he think they are high in the bell tower or in the courtyard?]
Offline
Narrhill can't discern exact location or place their origin from the low din, but if he stepped inside the room he would be able to look through the window and see the belfry.
Offline
Narrhil want to get to the cellar to see if Tillak and the great worm are safe.
He moves close the cellar door, looking out the windows for any sign of movement and listening for and sound coming up the stairs.
Offline
Narrhil slips through the kitchen. And glances up - No one at the belfry.
He again hears the muttering voices, but they aren't saying much at the this moment.
[Roll d6 as Narrhil approaches the cellar door...]

Narrhil makes it to through the door no problems.
