The two broken out windows are nearly 20 ft off the ground.

Tillak climbs the stairs.
The footprints have been trampled by both Keet and Narrhil but Tillak can make out a set of other prints climbing the stairs up to the landing, Keet's prints follow the landing platform off to the right of the bell where a spike is embedded in the timber. Keet's prints also go off to the left toward the courtyard side of the landing platform where they trample over more stranger prints. There are some Narrhil prints right here at the top of the stair, the southside of the landing platform.

Tillka follows Keet's footprints, listening for his companion's voices.

Is Tillak lost?
He is at the top of the belltower.
Keet's prints go both left and right along the walkway around the bell.
His companions are on the ground in the courtyard below him.

Is Keet lost too?
This is why that old fool was drawing with the coal stick on the parchment at every turn in his last traveling group, it dawns him.
The only door here is the one into the room next to the belltower, where the mattress on the floor was, and all the burned books, you started a fire, everyone slept a bit, but there were wolves and icicle rain....

Tillak abandons the footprints and goes back down with the others.

"We maybe following a old trail," says Narrhil, "how long have these footprints been here? This Malak that I first saw with you and Sir Votin." He says to Tillak. "Did he explore this way, and are we following a dead man's trail?"

"I do not know, Brother Narrhil. I know that I was tasked with his killing, but that thrice damned priest never gave me the reason for his death, so I chose not to carry out his wishes."

"Ah, yes, death does need a good reason!" Considered Narrhil.
