Keet carefully ascends the rickety wooden stairs. The weather worn wood snaps and groans under each step but holds as he goes. He turns the first landing and beings the second run, giving him a view of the burned out roof of the main chapel. The rafters are damaged pretty badly, but might hold his weight. Looking right, the roof of the northern room off the courtyard is dusted with snow but solid. The steps continue up.

Kéet looks around, but then continues his ascent.

There are footprints in the snow on the steps leading higher.

Oblivious to Kéet's exploration, Narrhil examines the ground below, now that the snow is melting.
[Is the door to out-building open or shut? Will examine graves more closely, and look for any other useful items.]

The snow is not melting, it has fallen less on the church than the surrounding area.
It is now under your Dome of Continuous Light that you can truly see that fact.
The door is closed.
The graves are not here in the courtyard, they are out in the dark cemetery area.

Any tracks have been covered. The group moves through the headstones and into the courtyard.
The dome of Narrhil's magical light hangs overhead. The light snow is nearly melted away under it in the yard. The red dirt beginning to show through. There is a shovel, a small twine trap, some tiny bones, and broken glass under the broken out high windows. All the mysterious ice darts are now gone.
[Thought nearly was good enough? Did not realise there was a courtyard and a graveyard. No problem.]

Kéet returns just close enough to whisper to the group that he found footsteps in the snow further up the stairs. He will then quietly [Move Silently} make his back up, following the footprints. He will draw one of his daggers as he does so.
[Were the footprints human sized? beastman? Barefeet or wearing boots?]

Bad word choice. THE SNOW IS LIGHTER HERE IN THE YARD THAN ANYWHERE ELSE UNDER IT.
NARRHIL +50 XP.

Prints were boots, human, or beastman wearing human boots.

Dagger drags scabbard.
Wooden steps creak echo across the courtyard.

"Does Kéet need our help comrades?" asks the cryomancer.

Kèet stops and cringes at the echoes whips his dagger at the building across the courtyard hoping it lands with a loud thud then unhooks his hand axe, grips it against his chest, and holds his breath.

Keet's dagger flies across the courtyard and straight into one of the broken out windows!

The charred timbers creak under Keet's feet as he reaches the landing. the huge copper bell overhead just out of reach, any ringing ropes burned awa . the footprints jumble in circles around the landing here.
