You cannot.

The aid I give will come when you need it most.

She holds out her hand to Keet.
Give me the ring you wear on your finger, boy. It carries a taint.

Tillka glances at Narrhill. "We are poor magic users for not being able to discern a curse on the ring, brother."

"Aye that maybe so but the great master saw fit to grant me a spell that can identify such things, but the cost of such a spell is great. I had planned to melt down the golden harp, now that it has served its purpose to use in performing such a spell!"

“Taint? Oh no.” Kêet slips, or tries to slip, off the ring and holds it out.

It drops through her flesh, falling down upon the ground, and buries itself beneath the soil.

Votin looks Narrhil and Tillak and whispers "What sort of sorcery is this?"

“uhm. Do you know what the taint was? And do you have any guidance on how or where to start?”

You must go through the portal. That's where he teaches his beastman army. That's where you are to find him. That's where you are to find the fools that released him. There is no one left here. All are perished.

"Keet!...Ask Tetranna if those who have perished have left any equipment or armor?"

"Hey Tetranna. Those who have come before us but perished mightily. Did they leave any equipment, armour, and or weapons that may aid us in this endeavor? It would be a shame if we were to fall to the same fate."

"Unfortunately in order too discover the truth...we will have to go find these fools and the wizard...I know that there are 2 groups of beastmen...opposed to each other ... what a mess we have stumbled into."

Narrhil nods as he listens to Votin, partly because they could walk away; and try and find their way back to Dunwich and leave this threat to fester, and in part it is a disruption to nature and the world (or what is left of it). To ignore it would be folly and endanger the innocent!"
"We have no other choice!" He added.

The children and the priest of this church perished at the hands of their own parents whose minds had been poisoned by Auziwandilaz, then they in turn perished in the blight he released upon them.
Wanderers coming too close to the portal are either slaughtered or captured by beastmen, who deliver them through the portal for uses unknown in exchange for their freedom. Any of their belongings would be collected up in the beastmen caves.

Keèt nods, then attempts to walk back towards the rest of the group.
