Radiation?

I'm about to run "Ghost Ship of the Desert Dunes."

---SPOILER ALERT---

There's a ton of radiation in the desert.  Is there any way to deal with it?  Does "Draw Poison" or Neutralize poison work?  Some instances describe "radiation poisoning", so I assume poison is poison;' however, the radioactive ants, merely state "delivers a lethal dose of radiation."  Is there any way of dealing with this?

Thanks.

Re: Radiation?

The desert itself is not radioactive.

Only the green diamonds.

As for radiation sickness itself you can use the entry for green diamonds as a starting point. No green diamond craving but the other effects would be sufficient

What? Me worry?

Re: Radiation?

I didn't mean that the desert was literally radioactive - but there's a lot of creatures that are.  Is it just a death sentence to get bitten by one with absolutely no way to cure it?

Re: Radiation?

Consider it form of poison, for gaming purposes.

Re: Radiation?

I probably wouldn't allow draw poison to work against something as exotic as radiation, but cellular adjustment and all relevant spells would work. And I could even see an argument for allowing draw poison to work against a radioactive bite.
