{My the Gods of the Great Black Abyss, NO}...
Narrhil moves forward to assist Tillak, waving the torch in the faces of the nearest wolf...
[OOC: Yes it is rabid, but it still an animal, and hopefully afraid of fire!]

As all combatants maneuver for attacks, KEET GOOCH slings his stone! 19! which ricochets off one of the wolves skulls, It yelps in pain and staggers back briefly.
Then simultaneously The other wolf snaps at TILLAK's wrist - 5! but the warrior proves too swift, striking his own blow with the pick!
[TILLAK roll attack and damage rolls please, [which we'll tab at end of round.]]
Meanwhile NARRHIL by the time he aims the wand's sapphire tip he sees that Tillak is now in the middle of fray. {Does NARRHIL press the activation indention?]
1d20:15+1=16! 1d8:3+2=5!

Kèet reloads his slings and swings it around for another go at the wolf.
[Atk 11 for AC of 8; 2 dmg if that actually hit]

[NARRHIL torch attack intent noted. make all the rolls you think you'll need and we'll use what works.]

[TILLAK's round 1 attack is another brutal one, the wolf again puncture, blood sprays as TIllak withdraws the pick. The courtyard dirt getting sticky and wet in the battlezone!] [TILLAK state intent, make all rolls you think you'll need for round 2, which the other dudes are moving into!]

Light suddenly floods the courtyard and quick glances skyward see numerous yellow meteor fireballs streaking through and puncturing the dense snow filled clouds - releasing torrents of ice from above!!
Offline
seeing the sky above erupt in snowy fiery danger, Kèet dives back through the open door to get inside the building.

Narrhil swings the torch wildly and erratically at the wolf's face.
[OOC: Narrhil Morrtos rolls d20 = 5 (for attack), presume miss. It 1d4 for damage for torch. I wait till I hit to roll such a die. Can he force wolf to retreat in fear from fire by it making a Will save vs Fear?]

Tillak will retreat from the melee, hopefully giving his compatriots a clearer shot with their missiles and spells. "We have to get inside!"

KEET thinks twice about throwing the rock and dives inside the opened door landing hard across the dark stone floor! [KEET GOOCH +25XP]
NARRHIL waves the torch wildly at the wolves as TILLAK steps back and to his flank! [NARRHILL + 25XP]
The WOLVES are at first skittish of the flame but see and opportunity when TILLAK retreats!
WOLF 1 lunges at TILLAK! 18! Its jaws puncture the weak neck joint between armor! [TILLAK -6 HP!]
TILLAK falls hard and motionless to the dirt in front of NARRHIL!
WOLF 2 moves on NARRHIL but can't get past the waving torch!
[End of ROUND 2.]
[INTENTIONS, INTIATIVE, ATTACKS AND DAMAGE ROLLS, ETC for round 3]

Narrhil does a quarter-circle to his right and directs the blast of cold air from the wand at the wolves.
[OOC: His intent is to not hit Tillak's fallen form. Guess we can use damage for previous unused assault?
Narrhil Morrtos (Initiative) rolls d6 = 3]

"Oh shi--!" exclaims Kéet as he sees Tillak go down, then Narrhil blast the remaining wolves with the ice-wand. He turns around, waits for the blast, then runs back out to Tillak's prone form to:
a. if there is a wolf standing he will attack.
b. If not he will drag Tillak inside the building.
[Init 5; Attack natural 20; dmg 6; Crit roll 1 for +1 damage so total damage 7 hit points.}

[Eek! I didn't think that would be so big. It won't let me edit for some reason.]
