[OOC: Would Tillak know the weaknesses of the undead?]
[I would not think so, Tillak is only 17 and his late fisherman parents certainly never knew of undead. And the Viking clan that soon found him wandering the frozen wilderness only spoke of the honor of the dead, not any curse.]

Tillak searches for a way to avoid the undead and lead his friends to safety.

Tillak tucks into a crag at the cavemouth as the growing group of men approach.
The first reaches Keet but its milked empty gaze ignores him and his burning torch.

"They are summoned, perhaps they go to the Church?" cries Narrhil.

The first passes NARRHIL's hiding crag ignoring him as well.
The next few pass KEET.

As the SECOND passes Narrhil, it seems to notice the sudden movement of the picks and hesitates!
The next few collide with the first and the group of now 8 have stopped in the cave mouth surrounded on both sides by the three adventurers hiding in the crags!
The stench of rotten flesh now permeates the frozen air and NARRHILL stares eye to milked out eye with the animated corpse, a Kimmerian.

and KEET GOOCH recognizes several of the fallen adventurers from his previous group.

“Well damn, sorry this had to happen to you.” The legerdemainist whispers at the fallen companion, then freaking out a little just sticks out his torch to see if he can light the nearest on fire,

Narrhil had hoped he was hidden behind the wall of the crag when he pulled forth his weapons. He tries to step back further out of sight.

The crags only give partial obfusigation
Narrhil pushes back against the stone wall as much as he can.
Sensing no threat - the SECOND moves forward out of the cave mouth.
[NARRHIL +50 XP]

Narrhil slightly sighs in relief, the group was badly damaged and needed time to rest, but what time did they have...

The THIRD and FOURTH amble out of the cave mouth. The stream of the dead continues....

'Undead, zombified humans of the local lands. Is this witch-goddess they worship summoning an army,' thinks Narrhil, 'and to what ends?'

"To no good end, that is certain, brothers."

Eventually ALL DOZEN of the dead walk past the hiding adventurers and out of the cavemouth.

Narrhil eventually walks out his hidden place to confront his two companions. "We are in weakened state, we need to find a place to hide and recuperate!"

Narrhil immediately sees that the electrical crackling light of the transparent dome surrounding the church continues, its grounds illuminated within as day. The movement atop the bell tower has stopped.

Kèet, digging for rations in his backpack and making king sure everything is there after wedging the torch upright with some rocks says “That was weird. They didn’t even react to the fire. My party was decimated right quickly so I’ve yet to explore this area properly. Have you?”
[Are we in a cave on the side of a mountain, hill, or bluff maybe? Is there a way for Kèet to climb high and get a better visual of the area?]

[KEET woke up tied to the rockk several weeks ago, he doesn't know where he is.
He would need to leave the cavemouth to get a better look, the storm seems to have subsided in the pitch black NIGHTFALL outside.]
