The beastman's thick brow furrows at the cryomancer's repeated insubordination. This new delay tactic proves too much for the beast's patience.
As Narrhil moves to protect himself again, the crystal weapon in the beastman's hand suddenly glows orange hot and a tremendous spherical spark of energy explodes from it at Narrhil in the burnt out doorway! 19!

Narrhill feels his mind short circuit and his muscles lock up as he falls helpless to the stone floor!

Tillak struggles in vain against the overpowering beastmen. There is a sharp crack of wood against his head then all is black!

Narrhil lies helpless on the floor unable to move his limbs, and finding it difficult to draw breath. The shadows across the ceiling tell him the beastmen have entered the kitchen before the three loom over him.
"You no listen to beastman."
Then the same sharp crack he heard a mere moment ago and the same enveloping darkness....
Until after an endless lifetime in the darkness, their eyes flick open.
A crude fire. Inside a cave. Hands bound together. Massive headaches.

Far off echoes of speech and sounds of whimpering behind you.

Tillak opens his eyes.

Tillak's hands and feet are bound with twine to a large jagged boulder. He's on the floor of a large cave passage. There's a small fire flickering nearby. He's cold and stripped of armor to his underthings. HE head pounds where he was hit.
Narrhill is in the same predicament beside Tillak.
The smoke from the fire smells strongly of sap. You hear arguing in the faint echoes from far off.
There is some whimpering behind you somewhere around the rock.

How stout is the bindings on our wrists? Can I see our gear?

Tillak's hands are turning blue, and he assumes under his stockings he feet are the same.
There is no gear here.

Helluva birthday present Kéet internally complains, noting the two new bodies threwn into his hold. The months of captivity have weakened his mind and body, but he still has fight left in him. He begins to twist his wrists, maybe the bonds have loosened enough to pry free.

Narrhil's eyes flicker open, his head aching. He sees Tillak and notices that they not alone and he tries to get a look and the third captive tired to the rock...

Tillak remembers his hands and feet turning that color on the the long nights that he spent on the tundra as a boy, fleeing his village and the wrath of the priest of Cuthulu. Ythaqqa had taken pity on him then as a lost traveler on the tundra. Perhaps he'll take pity on him now as a misbegotten fool that has allowed himself to be captured? The warlock moans and mutters in Norse (hoping that his two companions can understand him), "Are you well? How many of the beast-men are there?" He repeats it in Esquimaux, but he doubts that they can understand that language.

The twine seems tighter now than when Keet Gooch was dragged in here weeks ago.
