Votin tries to locate the source of the clicks in the meantime he will wait and see if anything happens.
Offline
The clicking seems to come from inside the stone itself when Votin pushes against it. Nothing else happens while he waits.

Votin again pushes on the stone.
Offline
Again, the strange clicking as the stone refuses to budge.

Votin returns to the handle in the floor to see if the filament is glowing.
Offline
It is not.

Votin examines the body.
The frock is old and worn by time and falls away from the corpse. The skin of the man is rawhide leather and warm to the touch. Beside the body are 6 empty green bottles.
A spilled inkwell.
A quill.
There is a parchment clutched in the clawed hand, and a thin golden band wraps the middle finger.
Votin returns to the body puzzled by the fact that it is still warm.
Perhaps what was in the green bottles has put this being in a trance- like state?
Votin gently touches the man.

The man's skin is a leathery rawhide, dried meat stretched across bone at this point. And very warm to the touch.

Sully B! The main excitement is happening back in the cave with Tillak and Man beast, who having recently watched Votin disappear inside the strange metal disc drawer, has just doused the torch. Footfalls approach in the dark!

Tillak feels the Man beast's hand cover his mouth in the dark!
A low voice calls out from down the cave in broken common tongue - "No use to hide! I saw your light go out!"
Tillak hears the ring of metal being drawn.

Votin sits down cross legged on the floor...scratching his head he tries to work through his current situation.

The scratching doesn't provide a solution, but Votin now hears scratching on the stone.

Warily Votin stands up, hand on axe and peers over towards the stone.

The scratching at the stone increases in intensity, Votin leans forward with his torch and the stone appears to be moving inside a fraction of an inch!

Tillak readies his warpick. "They've heard us, friend! We'll have to fight for it it!"

Man Beast jerks Tillak to and fro quickly and quietly and then finally into a crouch against the stone wall.
The voice of the intruder barks, "Dale - Light em up!"
And a second voice responds, "On it."
There is a the scratch of tinder and then a blinding light as a torch ignites.
3 men in chain with swords stand in front of the metal disc. Their backs to you in your hiding place.
"Where under xathoqqua did they go?"
[Tillak state intentions. Roll initiative.]
