Votin is in a very tight 6 by 2 by 2 enclosed drawer with all his gear, there is barely enough room to reach the handles.

Which handle does Votin use?

Votin pulls himself up through the opening and onto what feels to him like a stone surface.

Votin draws his equipment up to him and starts digging in his backpack for a torch and tinderbox. If successful he will light the torch and have a look around.

As he rummages through his pack, Votin notices the space is very warm.

The torch flickers to life and Votin sees he is in a 15' circular, domed room. The stone floor is smooth and beside him there is an opening, a perfect 6x2x2 with the drawer lined up underneath. In the center of the room is a robed human form on the floor.

The robe is a simple thread bare frock.

Votin nudges the figure with his boot. It falls over retaining its kneeling form. The frock hood falls away revealing the horrific face of a man long dead, the skin of his ghastly face hardened by time into a leathery sack sunken against the bony frame beneath.

A familiar handle is in the floor with dim glowing filaments.

There is a rumble and movement under the opening in the floor where the drawer was - now solid rock!
