The crazed beast easily dodges the lumbering swing of Votin's huge battle axe!

if Votin is close to a tree, he will back up and try to smash or scrape the beastie off.
If that,s not a option and he is free from the creature, Votin will try and cleave it with his axe.
[1d20+2]=8+2=10
[1d8+2]=4+2=6
[OOC: Just how big is this thing?]
Votin backs agains the nearest tree, readying his large axe for the next onslaught and taking in the beast: a stocky, short-legged, with a dark, shaggy multibanded coat and bushy tail, about four feet long and when it was atop him he guessed it weighed 70 pounds.

When Votin comes into sight, Tillak will attack the wolverine with his pick. 1d20: 11 + 2 + 3 = 15!

Votin is backed up against the tree right beside you. The wolverine looks posied to charge him (or Tillak)!
[Tillak roll Death (Poison) save!]

The beast charges the newcomer! claw 7+4 for musk 11! claw 6+4 for musk 10! but its horrible bite 14+4 for musk 18! finds flesh!
[Tillak -3 HP]

Tillak's eye sting and water with the creature's horrid musk - reducing his pick counterattack [which I'm showing as an 11 +1for Str, +1 for mastery = 13 then -2 for musk eye watering and burning = as total 11!] Miss!
Offline
Finally, Votin's axe comes round - [which I'm showing as a flat 8.] Miss!

[OOC: weapon mastery, +1 to hit +1 to dmg misread STR 14, thought +1 to dmg but it applies to hurled weapons only, should be 1d20+1 attack, 1d8+1 dmg]
After seeing Tillak mauled by the furry beast, Votin wastes no time in attacking the vicious varmint.
Initiative; [1d6]=1
Attack #1 [1d20+1]=9+1=10
Damage #1 [1d8+1]=1+1=2
In quick succession, Votin swings again.
Attack #2 [1d20+1]=3+1=4
Damage #2 [1d8+1]=2+1=3
[OOC: This is gonna hurt]

Tillak swings again! 1d20: 5 + 2 = 7 - 1 = 6! Swing and a miss!!!!

[Pretty confident this wolverine is gonna roll higher initiative than the esquimeaux warlock and eat both yer faces off but let's see....Tillak d6....]

The wolverine scores a 2!
Tillak, still reeling from the rank musk, swings the war pick 12+2 -2 for musk = 10! a miss
and again 11+2 -2 for musk = 9!
Naturally the wolverine attacks his attacker! Claw 11+4 for musk= 15! Hit! the other claw 18+4 for musk = 22! another hit! And its bite 7+4 musk = 11! finds no purchase!
[Tillak -4 HP total]!
Smelling the flow of the esquimeaux's blood, the wolverine croaks into the warlock's ear, "If your magicks are as weak as your wielding, you should prepare to die, foolish man!"
To which Votin lunges forward with twin feeble attempts:
Attack #1 [1d20+1]=9+1=10
Attack #2 [1d20+1]=3+1=4
[end of round. State intentions, roll for initiative, attacks, etc...]

[1d6]=4
Votin can't believe his crappy luck, once again he swings his battle axe at the furry creature.
[1d20+1]=11+1=12
[1d8+1]=3+1=4
Failing to hit Votin will attempt to block the creature from making another attack on Tillak.
