Tillak, while focusing on the beastmen sleeping in the clearing below, keeps an eye out for Sigurn and Votin.

Neither friend approaches before the wild man tugs at Tillak's arm to pull him away from the edge.

And just to clarify ther beastmen below do not sleep: "the warlock follows its gaze over the edge and down upon a camp of scores of similar beastmen - these though wearing not rank loincloths but matched uniforms and brandishing steel on their belts. There must be 3 or 4 platoons, for Tillak loses count. Several groups tend fires spitted with dozens of boar. Others in regimented groups near the tents. Yet others at large pontoons moored at a large flowing river."

Tillak curses to himself. "Y'thaq'a's blood and bones! If we cannot skirt this horde, then we are done!" Does he see the two canoes that bore the cleric and the barbarian, away?

No but there is waterway below. much larger than the stream though.

I look at the Wildman, and motion back towards the camp. Then, I move in that direction.

Votin studies the tracks to determine ownership and direction, looking for signs of Tillak.
He will be sure to leave marks so that if the the rest of the group follows, he can be found.

Votin deduces the prints as fresh, the booted ones deeper. There are 2 sets of naked prints to the south and back to the clearing both made by the same man. The booted prints went south then returned to the clearing.
A single naked prints from the east and then returning to the east, a single set of booted prints to the east.
The booted prints seem to be the same that Votin has been tracking from the viking's hidden camp.

Votin follows the booted prints, trying his best to be stealthy.

The booted prints lead both to and fro the south, and to the east.

The prints are very fresh. And it is only a matter of minutes before Votin sees the movement of 2 figures through the trees ahead.

Tillak only sees the trees, but both his friends were barbarians, so he knows their stealth would be incomprehensible.
