So, interesting thing, are there fewer name choices in 3e vs 2e?
I decided to look at Kimmerian names and notice there were about 100 in 2e and 50 in 3e.
For the folks that did the work on this, any reason for the reduction?

...and then I realized it wasn't in 2e but Colin Chapman's Name Generator PDF that I got them from...

I believe Jeff cut the lists down because some of them were just too long. The male Viking name list in particular was over the top (I think there were 400 male Viking names).

Oh definitely, I was thinking that...10 pages of names in the original pdf.
And yes, 400 viking names: 100 for women, and 300 for men. That's a lot.
Of course, my program has no such limitations :-)
It took me a bit to sift through the digital hoard to find the pdf. I forgot about the name generator and looked through the Encounter tables *and* Waifs to rule them out.
