Re: Inspiring Metal Music

Messing around with campaign notes lately and thought I'd post some relevant links here.  Maria Brink is the model for my version of the Vampire Necromancer, Lady Bathorii:

And it's tough to go wrong with Japanese girl metal:

Re: Inspiring Metal Music

This may have come up before but I had this own while writing up some campaign notes tonight.  It's called From Hell with Love: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8qWbowzwZU

Cheesy, but kind of awesome.

Re: Inspiring Metal Music

Hailing as most of you do from lands untouched by the civilizing force of the world's greatest radio station, you might never have heard of Hits from the Crypt with Keilidh. This is unfortunate, but a remedy exists: the internet!

Last weekend's had some particularly D&D songs going: https://wfmu.org/playlists/shows/91612

You are welcome.

Also: like all right thinking people, you will probably like Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs: https://pigspigspigspigspigspigspigs.bandcamp.com/album/king-of-cowards

Oh, and in case you ever wondered if my dog really WOULD steal pizza in a video for a fem noise-punk band with eruptions of haunted D&D noise, well:

Re: Inspiring Metal Music

My first post here, and it's reviving an old thread, LOL  But this is a topic that is near and dear to my heart.  Here are a few bands that remind me of AS&SH (and other similar type games)

(110) Demon Eye - Hecate (Official Video) - YouTube

(110) Cauldron - No Return / In Ruin - YouTube

(110) Bastard Steel - YouTube

(110) Tanith - Citadel [Single] (2017) - YouTube

Just discovered these guys: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HB8fl8QbSc8&t=100s

Apparently they have several earlier albums as well.  Fun stuff.

Re: Inspiring Metal Music

Hey DMPrata

That was fantastic work..

Had not much time to listen to it when I first posted, you should place your link in a separate post so it not lost in the the barrage of other stuff.

Powerful stuff, as good as any...

I salute thee...

I was in a group once Keltic (traditional), toured Vancouver, which was not bad for folk fa Glasgow, could have got contract to tour world; New Zealand, etc, where Scot's folks immigrated to, but I wanted to go to Amazon jungle, I should have took the money.

Just got this album yesterday in the mail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OC8MHcD3944

The lead singer (Jason Tarpey) also writes Sword & Sorcery fiction & is a blacksmith.
