Backed in the first few minutes. In for the Kitchen Sink, a new weapon for the bartender NPC subclass featured in the book. Actually, that last part is not true. I made the subclass up. Either way, I'm excited and looking forward to this very much!

Good grief, I go out to dinner to celebrate the wife's birthday and two hours later I'm backer 434 or 435. Talk about an amazing turnout.

Great night!
Funded in 17 minutes..
200% in 55 minutes
300% in 2 hours.
Now 400% in 12!!!
Personally hope it gets to 10,000% by the end of the campaign. Jeff did a Great job with 2nd Ed, can only expect 3rd Ed will be even that much more...

Edit: the Atlas of Hyperborea book looks intresting. sure i can use it a lot more than a huge map. good choice!
Yes, a big poster is cool, but an atlas has greater utility on the table in many cases.

I am definitely looking forward to the atlas now that I know about it

I knew Jeff said the new map would be "atlas style", but for some reason I assumed this meant an atlas style section of one of the books. Having it as a separate atlas will be sweet.

Backer 387 is what I get for being on vacation with the family, but All-In Metal will be sweet...congrats Jeff!

I know, it was unexpected, but the reality remains that I need to temper enthusiasm with reality. If there was some type of stretch goal imagined for every $5k beyond funding, it would likely result in the project getting bogged down with all the added responsibilities. So, the philosophy must remain -- a few cool bonuses, but nothing that will cause delays. It always seems to me that the sexier the stretch goals are, the more likely a project will have problems. I've actually looked at projects that drew my interest and then not pledged after reading the laundry list of (in some cases) nutty stretch goals. I've made that mistake before, as a consumer. For example, many years ago I backed the Marmoreal Tomb. That project is now five years late and there's almost no chance that they will ever fulfill all those overly ambitious stretch goals. I realize I'm probably preaching to the choir here.

So Jeff will take a stretch limo to Gamehole Con and bring all the new books with him?
