Okay, Gundrabu is fine taking many turns, but maybe his companions aren’t?
If someone thinks Gundrabu should drag the beetle out of the way, he’s fine with that. I’m increasingly getting the impression that this is a VERY big beetle (especially since it blocks an entire passageway), so Gundrabu certainly doesn’t have the strength to move it on his own.
The beetle is 3.5 ft long and with its protruding legs and you kneeling over it, the 3 ft doorway is blocked.

[Only Tillak, gundrabu, and Kondor have the ability to glean this type of info. ]

Tillak looks at the wax on the floor and attempts to gauge the thickness and depth of it.

Tillak moves very close behind the busy cleric, who's sawing away with his sharp dagger at the beetle's hard shell. Without interrupting he leans over Gundrabu's shoulder straining to look into the hole in the wax nearby created by a foot.
He cannot be sure exactly but his best guess is the footprint is 8 to 9 inches deep...

So maybe Gundrabu can move the carcass on his own?
Gundrabu straightens with creaking back and tries to drag the beetle deeper into the wax room, keeping to the unwaxed margin, not to be trapped again. But...
There is something the referee said. His words seem to hang in the air. “The wax might be cool by now?”
If Gundrabu doesn’t have to make any strength tests, he’ll take a moment to stretch his limbs, walk to the edge of the wax, and lightly press the sole of one of his mukluks into the nearest surface of the wax.

Kondor is patient, but also helps Gundrabu move the beetle as needed.
ooc: Was the wax heated before? All I recall is entering the area and getting stuck in rapidly-cooling wax. Are we noticing there's warm air in this room?

Gundrabu has nowhere to step clear of wax, as it stretches from the fount to the wall's edge, so he tests the mukluk right away. The wax holds his weight.

Kondor moves up behind the new esquimeaux if an effort to reach the old esquimeaux.
{Kondor knows not the status of the previous clime of the room. Gundrabu witness a great whoosh of air which extinguished a great light when the door was opened.]

As if Kondor’s unvoiced thoughts are somehow heard by Gundrabu, the Esquimaux mumbles, “I seem to have made assumptions. I had thought the wax was magical in nature — and it may yet be that — but perhaps it was naturally warmed by a source that went out with the opening of the door. It is true that there had been a light on the other side of the door, and now there is not.”
Gundrabu lifts his gland-pouch and proceeds another step, then another, on the firm wax, making his way toward the rim with the melted candles on them.

After dragging the beetle carcass out of the doorway, the cleric cautiously approaches the raised fount. This found is identical to the one in the previous carvern, around knee high made of precisely placed cut stones.
There are ten massive 12 inch wide discus nubs standing around the diameter, melted wax holding each in place and spilled over the edge in cascading rivers down and across the floor upon which you tread.

When Tillak sees his fellow Esquimaux enter the chamber, he advances as well, making sure to step where Gundrabu steps. His War pick is drawn, and he scans the room, cautious.
Offline
[I can't recall if Gundrabu still has Tillak's lantern.]
The chamber is slightly smaller than the previous. 40ft diameter, the glands and the lantern light strain to fill.
The rough stone ceiling is scorched above the fount.
Offline
If it’s all right, let’s let Gundrabu have the lantern (so Tillak can make use of his shield).
Gundrabu strides up to the edge of the fount and tries to look within it, illuminating with the lantern.
Offline
The rivulets of wax cascade within the fount as well, running down and dripping onto the splayed shape of a body, chained at each wrist and ankle nearly ten feet down to anchors on the inner wall! The clothing is shredded and what little remains barely covers the horrible dried mummified skin stretched tautly across the skeletal form.

Awesome! ⛓

[Tillak will relinquish the use of his lantern to Gundrabu.]
Tillak tests the firmness of the wax with his foot. He looks at his companions.
"Ythaqqa's bones! I have never seen such a thing!"

The wax holds the Giant Esquimeaux...
