Kondor will take a breath - his Kimmerian constitution and barbarian willpower pushing through the stench, refusing to yield to it his success in the feat before him - and submerge to get a grip upon the bottom of the slab. He feels under the slab for seams, for handholds, then sets his feet and heaves against the slab, lifting and pushing it with the force needed to move it aside - for Kondor is a man born upon the steppes, solid as though he had been birthed from the bosom of the mountains themselves, as the giants of ancient legend were born, who tore trees up by the roots and set rings of menhirs about the land to mark the passage of the Sun and Stars. What is this slab to the son of the mountain, or to the blood of giant kin?!
ooc: can I still use that last roll for this?
Kondor disappears underneath the slab. He feels only the smooth underside seamless, so squatting underneath it, he sets the weight upon his shoulder , leans his delicate helm against it and lunches upward.
It lifts slightly, even Gundrabu feels it bob, but alas it is simply too cumbersome for a lone barbarian!

“Kondor! It moved! Let me help!”
Gundrabu slides down along the surface of the disc to beside Kondor, where he plants his feet and likewise presses.

Kondor combines their strength, part determination and part urgency to move before they are discovered.

Gundrabu moves along the top of the slab, his body now mostly freed of the muck. He crawls out toward the slightly bobbing side where Kondor strains below, but he only makes it 3 or 4 feet before he bumps into a an awkward form - his way blocked!

Gundrabu feels over the awkward form with his hands, trying to determine what it is.

Hard to tell, it's hard, convex,
and there's a very taut rope!

Continue up to Kondor.
Will gundrabu climb over the obstruction or go around / which way?

Oh, it’s that big! I’ll go around. Left, if you need a direction.

3 ft to the left, there's another taut rope. Gundrabu steps over it. and finds the object seems to come to a point.
gundrabu roll d6!

Gundrabu moves around the other side of the long object and comes to another taut rope.

Kondor's lungs begin to ache for air.

Up he goes to breath and see what is going on.
Then when Gundrabu is ready, back to it.
Offline
Gundrabu feels the slab tilt flat again as he rounds the object and Kondor resurfaces near the edge.

Kondor will get back to the slab as soon as Gundrabu is ready.

“I’m ready. One, two, three, four-five-six! Heave!”

So Gundrabu crawls over a fourth taut rope, and joins Kondor at the edge of the slab.
He slips back off the safety of the slab into the deep muck. It's over his head but he can easily go under to get some leverage.
