Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

ooc:  Same here. Hard to get myself to type anything. Lots of procrastination.
Kondor is going to just keep battering at these beast-men until they are slain. I'm sure he's familiar with tales of them, and likely has come across signs of their predations in the wild?

IC:  Kondor continues his assault, slashing and hacking away at the creatures.

Initiative: 3
Attack 1: 2+3
Damage 1: nvm
Attack 2: 4+3
Damage 2: nvm

ooc: dang it!

"AT YOUR BEHEST I ANSWER!", the sorcerer manages a shrill shriek as he follows Gundrabu's voice outside.

"My boons are spent, tell me how may I aid".

[ooc: just to be clear, Referee, Gundrabu has experienced a few rounds of combat. Are Igrest and Kondor experiencing those (past) rounds now?]

"Kondor, Gundrabu, guide me with your voice! Atlantis' smokes and deceptions will beguile them while you make short work of them!", the Altantean calls out from the north of the chamber where he remains shroude in a 20 x 20 x 20 ft cube of thick, reeking smoke.

(OOC: Init d6 roll = 2)

ROUND 3 INSIDE
The sorcerer's voice is lost in the wind, smoke, and battle.
Attackers are lost in the smoke cloud.

The smoke cloud is blinding and the barbarian cannot connect with his foes.

The smoke cloud holds together through rounds 4 and 5 inside, leaving the pyromancer, barbarian, and beast men actionless.

The sorcerer's voice rings out as his cloud finally disperses in the heavy winds on Round 6!

[We all now move to  Round 7:
roll initiatives, state intentions. etc.]

Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

Kondor searches for a new target, then strikes at the nearest beast-man he can find. He lurks in the cloud for a moment, to use it to his advantage to get the beast-man off guard when he strikes.

Initiative: 4
Attack: 20(!)+3: 23
Damage:  5+3 (plus crit damage)
Damage:

For a Barbarian that equals x2 damage! So (5+3)x2 = 16!

Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

Kondor waits in the mist for his moment and Strikes, decapitating his beast man with a single stroke of his sword! The head flies off across the sanctuary landing somewhere near the pulpit's pool and the headless body collapses to the stone floor, the bent metal pipe and the large shield ringing loudly as they collide with the snow and ice covered stone!

Kondor +105 XP!

Second attack roll d20: 8

Igrest's darts miss their marks.

And the 2 beast men surrounding him beat him mercilessly with their large bones!
4! 1!   -5 HP!

The sorcerer drops to the stone floor in a heap!

Gasp!  Kondor will avenge him when I get home from working all weekend. He has two attacks and I hope some luck. If we survive Kondor will nurse him to health until he can use the jackalope paws healing again.

Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

The sorcerer lets out an almost resigned sigh and he ends face first on the cold floor, collapsing unceremoniously, a dull thud echoing upon impact.

Re: The Scorched Sanctuary

The beast men quickly tear at the red robes, and struggle to release the backpack.

The 2 in the rafters drop to the floor between the rows of pews. Their laughter and taunts turning to barks of rage at the barbarian!
