Ok, I finally got around to getting the second edition treasure tables into the format used by my treasure generator program.
That also means I got around to making a web app out of it as well.
So I present to you my very alpha version of the Hyperborea Treasure Generation Page.
I hope it is mostly intuitive to use.
The output formatting is very rough and I'm still contemplating about how to make it look better.
I'm wanting to put a bit more effort however into making it look better on mobile.
As always let me know of any suggestions, errors, typos, and any problems you have.
PS: Handy I think this might mean I'm that much closer to writing that Hyperborea Weather Generation Page you've asked for.

Splendid work once again.

Thanks y'all.
I've tweaked it slightly so that it looks a bit better on my phone. Hopefully it looks better on yours, too.

Very useful. Will get immediate use in my campaign . . . if I decide my players are worthy of discovering any treasure at all, that is.

Well, you can't be any more stingy than Handy. ;-)

Awesome App Gizmo.
My only suggestion would be to put a Main page up that has all the links to the awesome apps you are putting up...

Hmmm, I'll look into it.
Do you recall which treasure type this was?

The way that Roland works and how I got it configured you can get the "gem of prodigious size" result multiple times for the same roll for gem, just in the book.
So, in theory, you could get a gem worth 100x, 1,000x it's base value. Extremely low probability but it's possible.

Yeah, I've contemplated that.
I do have a plan old page that I could plunk that info in without much fuss.

Thanks, Caveman.
I make extensive use of your Blackmarshes maps for the Stonebrook/Lug area in my campaigns with some light editing to fit my needs.

Yeah, I've contemplated that.
I do have a plan old page that I could plunk that info in without much fuss.
And with some quick editing and some basic css styling to make it look a bit nicer on my phone I have the apps I've created so far.
Thanks for the nudge to finally do this. :-)

Glad to help with the nudge. Your stuff (pre-generated test characters) are helping me out with my module playtesting, so anything I can help with let me know...
When I was a kid, I converted the entire back end of the Dungeon Master's Guide into a program. It took all the tables and generated a mega dungeon-like content in three dimensions with no collisions for the corridors and rooms, It then filled the rooms with monsters and treasures (was like 20K lines of code in Pascal on a Vax 11/750). Of course, it didn't do so with any intelligence, so there could be a room filled with zombies and skeletons right next to a room with Human Raiders, etc...
So I thank you for finding new ways of making the table grind a lot easier...
Bob

Yeah, automating some of the table rolling was the aim of this.
The weather tables are taking a bit of time to slog through.
I have also been trying to see if I can automate the editing of a libreoffice spreadsheet so that the data file I'm angling towards for the pc generator can also spit out those files. It's not going well :-)
Speaking of the PC Generator I really need to finish the Generator portion where you can have it create a random character or of a specific class.
Always lots of irons in the fire. Good thing it's just bits on not real iron in a real fire :-)

It's table B. So far only there I found the problem.
