The wheels on the right of the wagon splinter and the wagon tumbles. Venvig's grip is on the rope as the ground comes rushing up.

Venvig keeps a tight grip on that rope as she tries to brace for impact.

The wagon comes crashing down on its side, a rope near the back pulls free and a row of barrels flys out exploding on contact with the ground into splineterd staves, all appear to be empty. Three rows of three barrels each remain behind Venvig. The wagon is jerked forward without stopping as it scrapes along on its side.

Venvig clings to the ropes with all her strength. It feels like her arms are being pulled from her shoulders. The speed of the wagon has slowed noticably since it went over on its side, but the wagon seems to be tearing itself apart.

The barrels in the back row rock loosely for a moment in their ropes then one slips free and the two others follow. These don't break but go rolling and bouncing as they fly free. Two rows of barrels shake behind Venvig and a great crack sounds from the front of the wagon.

Venvig will try to jump away from the wagon now, kicking off with her feet and trying to hit the ground rolling.

As Vencig kicks off the barrels begin to roll, the line goes suddenly slack and her arm tangles in it. The Wagon slows but one last bunp sends it over and down. Darkness decends and Venvig slams into the ground.

When she awakes. Everything around her is dark,

Venvig slowly gets to her feet and takes a few cautious steps, feeling the groundwith her feet and stretching out one arm to find out what is around her.

As she pushed her self to her hands and knees she feels her back press against something. Reaching out she can feel rough grained wood above her, to her side and ahead of her.

Venvig will try to turn around while inspecting the wood with her fingers to see if she can find an opening.

As she turns she feels ropes hanging from the top of her wooden prison. There is room toward the back and as then a loose plank. She can feel the broken board. The bottom is wedged into the ground. Cool air is coming from a gap where a long sliver of wood is missing and the top half of the plank gives slightly against her hand.

Re: The Black Monolith - Venvig Bardsdottier

Venvig tries to peek out the gap to see whats around her.
How large is the gap, enough for her to squeeze through?

Through the small gap Venvig can see that it is dark outside but with enough moonlight to turn the ground silver. From her vantage point she can see lighter color of the road to her right and the empty field around her. Feeling along the crack she can tell that is runs from one side of the plank to the other but the piece which came free was only a large sliver. Not more than a foot long and two or three inches at its widest narrowing down to a point.

Re: The Black Monolith - Venvig Bardsdottier

Venvig will grab the top end of the plank and pull hard on it in an attempt to break free.

The plank splits even further down the middle without breaking free entirely. The gap has widened considerably but it looks a tight fit.
