Awesome! (As long as you don't cleanse it by taking out the devils and demons etc.)

It'll be a kinder, gentler Hyperborea, so as not to offend any soccer moms. Does anyone really play assassins and monks anyway? You'll hardly miss them. Plus, check out our new d10 initiative system.

The only bad part is I can't read it when it arrives since BigPerm says he's going to run it for us.

Spoiler Alert:  It's awesome!

The Saxon Tales series is one of my favorites, and I was very happy about the way the "The Last Kingdom" turned out.

I would think that to much thought was put into the lunar, annual, and daily cycles for there not to be some sort of phenomenon to be going on, but you are correct on the space station aspect of it.  That brought to mind the movie "Dark City".  How far down does this rabbit hole go????

I may have caused irreparable harm to my brain trying to figure out (if there even is any) the "tilt" of Hyperborea as compared to the it's rotation around Helios in order to create the 13 year cycle, throw in  Helios' +/- 25° setting and rising and those two moon cycles and you get a recipe for a blown frontal lobe.

I'm re-reading Bernard Cornwell's Warlord Saga, which is a mix of historical fiction and Arthurian mythology, and I am getting a good AS&SH vibe.  If you haven't read it, it's a far cry from the more well known takes on King Arthur.  I might take a stab at making an adventure based off of it.

I take my eyes off of the thread for one day, and it degenerates into juvenile remarks and innuendo... this forum is awesome!

So, my two cents, page 14 of the Players' Manual - and mind you I'm not a literary giant in the least, but wouldn't "genetically" compatible, be more accurate than "sexually" compatible in regards to whether or not Atlanteans and Hyperboreans can procreate offspring with the other races?
