Hi all,
I have been sitting around looking through my AS&SH collection and listening to music, and came across a couple of songs that work well as background to perusals. I'm sharing here - if others have any additional recommendations, please share! I could use new AS&SH-related music.

1. Ningen Isu: 'The Colour Out of Space'
Late/middle age Japanese metal trio who dress in traditional
clothes and are into Lovecraft?? YES PLEASE.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JY89ZxVqEg

2. Fu Manchu: "I've Been Hexed"
Basically, they've been hexed. What else is there to know?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-rUELGvgvM

I hope you and your loved ones are all safe and healthy.
Ernesto

I just checked out the first one, and my mind is sufficiently blown. Wow.

I use one of the Whitenoise generation apps that are on my phone. There are ambient sea and sailing loops, Fire loops and a bunch of others that I've used...

Inspiration for a new creature, too: Dark Idiots from Space! Quite enjoyed this one.

The one show when Ningen Isu was played on WFMU looks pretty interesting!

Will check them out.

Thanks for sharing this, Handy! I've book marked this WFMU page and am playing it as I page through my AS&SH. This self-isolation is making Jack a Dull Boy.

"Sinfonia Antartica" by Vaughan Williams for doomed marches through the Hyperborean winter. Sibelius' "Tapiola" while traversing primeval forests. Actually, the work of Sibelius is just right for Hyperborea. He was steeped in the influence of his Finnish homeland and Hyperborea is, landscape wise, Finland writ large.
