Extraordinary Strength

Since the topic of house rules came up and I'm getting ready to start an online campaign. Francisca has commented about grabbing the exceptional strength from the Greyhawk supplement (since ASSH hews closely to OD&D I think) it seems reasonable.

Here's what I'm thinking

score, to hit, damage, test, feat
01-50, +2, +3, 17:20 (3:12), 42%
51-75, +3, +3, 18:20 (3:12), 44%
76-90, +3, +4, 19:20 (4:12), 46%
91-99, +3, +5, 20:20 (5:12), 48%
00,+4, +6, 20:20 (6:12), 50%

Numbers is parentheses are chance to open magically held doors.
The extraordinary feat percentage includes the bonus for classes that have Strength as a Prime Attribute.
I haven't looked into how this would change encumbrance, but that is a minor concern.
Looking at 0e this makes 18/00 strength fairly badass even compared to 1e.

Edit: While reading through the manuals more carefully in prep for my new campaign I came across the magically held doors section. I've updated the table accordingly, to reflect the spirt of both 0e and ASSH.

looking back at my notes, this is what I had:

18/01-50: exactly as 18
18/51-75: +3 +3 5:6 (2:12) 40%
18/76-90: +3 +4 7:8 (3:12) 48%
18/91-99: +3 +5 9:10 (5:12) 60%
18/00: +4 +6 11:12 (7:12) 72%

I wanted a 50/50 chance of not getting exceptional STR bonus, and really wanted the 91-99/00 ranges to be really extra-ordinary.
