Just got back from a week in Michigan, which is becoming the microbrew capital of America! It's great to see. I spent two years there working in a brewpub in Ann Arbor, and now there are microbreweries all over the state. I'll check the camera to see if I have any pictures, but in the meantime, be content with the knowledge that I cleared brush, cut down trees, sat around the fire, stargazed, and showed by buddy how to roll up an AS&SH character (Atlantean warlock fire lord) while drinking some delicious beers.

Pumpkin beer was decent, although not as good as some I've had. This brewery produces some really good beers, just not a huge fan of their pumpkin.

Game tonight was very successful, we (narrowly) avoided a TPK on the way out and made it back to town as richer men. Now to make plans to return to Xavadar's Crypt with a holy man or two (way too many sarcophagi for our liking) and plunder more loot. If someone were to start a thread about the game they were running I'd be happy to post some tidbits there.

Tomorrow night, I promise! I wrote up session one today and didn't have time to post it before our game. I'll do session two tomorrow, then post them both in a new campaign journal thread. :-)

Once upon a time I was a student of architecture. Until they asked me to leave. I guess some of the lessons actually stuck, despite the copious amounts of alcohol consumed and the fair companionship enjoyed.
