I will research what DC means (I have a hardcopy of the rules from lulu)

Lestrade - don't worry about paying for your items. The money amount you have left is fine.

Waiting a day or so to put up a brief background and opening thread in the game thread. This will allow time to potentially get another player and to tie up loose ends on characters, rules etc. Thanks

Near as I can tell 'DC' is a misprint that should read AC, and means Armor Class.

The higher your AC the better as the basic attack mechanic is that a d20 is rolled and if it is above the defender's AC then it hits. Their are STR and DEX modifiers and also forms of armor such as 'buff coats' which can increase your AC
It looks like for some classes your AC naturally improves as you level up due to experince as well

Ok, am going to go ahead and get this monster hunt started shortly. I will edit your characters to level 3. If anyone new wants to join they can still do so in the near future (I wish now that I would have you had you guys xfr your characters over to the pbp thread as you would have editing control but not a big deal)

Its Okl that we only have 2 players, it may even be a fun little dynamic. An unlikely alliance between 2 rough men tracking down a killer in the countryside

http://invisiblecastle.com/ appears to be dead or on the fritz.

So - we can just use regular dice rolls on the honor system.

Question: would you prefer I handle all the dice rolling, or do you guys want to 'roll your own' and post the results?

Thanks

I do have a set of office dice--so I can handle it on my own if that's cool.
