Off topic, but who knows maybe some old Car Wars offensive drivers/killers want to add thoughts...

I noticed Vassal has an online version of Car Wars Deluxe (box set) available for free. It looks more appealing than face to face as it rotates the turns for you, keeps a log of hits etc. http://www.vassalengine.org/wiki/File:Ss-cw.jpg

Any thoughts on your Car Wars dueling experinces - or thoughts specifically to the game's mechanics?
