I just started using Roll Tables for Crits and Woe for one of my roll20 campaigns.
They work but you can't share them which kinda sucks.
However, I can share the macros I use to select the roll table to use
For crits:
?{crits|
fighter,/roll 1t[crit-fighter] |
cleric-thief-monster,/roll 1t[crit-cleric-thief-monster] |
magician,/roll 1t[crit-magician]
}
For woe:
?{woes|
fighter,/roll 1t[woe-fighter] |
cleric-thief-monster,/roll 1t[woe-cleric-thief-monster] |
magician,/roll 1t[woe-magician]
}
The roll tables are simple named 'crit-fighter', 'woe-magician', and such.
It takes a bit to create the tables but then I can roll crits and woes as needed and the text gets dumped out to the chat window.
You can allow players use use roll tables but they would need to create their own macros. At least you can share the text of the macros
so it's relatively painless by comparison to create the roll tables.
