YouTube sensation "captcorajus" has posted a great new video in which he discusses several traditional RPGs, including Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers of Hyperborea! He talked about some great games (I knew them all well, except one called Dark Dungeons), and then he picked a favorite. It was a nice to see HYPERBOREA included in such great company! I have watched several of his other videos, and I made sure to subscribe a while ago. If you like what you see, you should subscribe as well!

Good review. Dark Dungeons is a retroclone of the D&D Rules Cyclopedia and an excellent book. I highly recommend it.

I'll claim a small amount of credit here.  I bugged him for months to check out and review AS&SH.....

"Could you fancy me as a pirate bold?  Or a longship Viking warrior with the old gods on his side?  Well, I'm an inshore man and I'm nobody's hero.  But I'll make you tight for a windy night and a dark ride."--Jethro Tull

Excellent review, and nice to see AS&SH accurately characterized and lauded.

Over at RPG Retro Reviews, "captcorajus" reviews HYPERBOREA 3E. It's a thoughtful and insightful analysis, and I quite enjoyed listening!
